Zimbabwean designer, producer and musician Xander Pratt will take part in the World Youth Festival Assembly 2025 in Nizhny Novgorod from 17 to 21 September at the invitation of African Initiative.
Between his appearances at New York Fashion Week and the United Nations General Assembly, Xander will be visiting Nizhny Novgorod for the first time.

The designer will perform a musical number on 18 September, present two paintings at a personal exhibition, which will then be sent for collaboration with Nikas Safronov and take part as an expert in the case session Story revolution: how to break through the information noise, organized by AIon 19 September from 12:00 to 13:20. This will be Pratt’s sixth visit to Russia. He previously took part in SPIEF 2025. In April, the Cultural Centre in Malabo hosted the presentation of the film The impact of African fashion on the West and a screening of an interview with the well-known designer from Equatorial Guinea, Lucas Escalada.
