Sunday Inspiration - A Word From Our CEO Rocquel Caliste
Sometimes It’s Not a Delay — It’s Preparation:
Not every delay means that something has gone wrong. Sometimes the season that feels slow, difficult, or uncertain is actually preparing you for what you have been asking and praying for.
We often measure progress by how quickly things happen. When a door closes, a plan changes, or an opportunity takes longer than expected, it can feel like we are being held back. What if the delay is actually preparation?
Difficult people, unexpected detours, closed doors, disappointments, and obstacles can develop qualities we may need for the next season of our lives. They build resilience, sharpen character, strengthen discipline, and expand our capacity.
Sometimes receiving an opportunity is not the hardest part, being able to sustain it is. Growth prepares us not only to receive what is coming, but to manage it wisely, maximize it, and turn it into something that creates greater impact.
During the preparation, God may be bringing the right people into your circle, removing people, habits, or circumstances that no longer belong in your next chapter.Redirecting you toward a path that is better than the one you originally planned.
Strengthening you so you can carry the weight and responsibility of what you have been praying for.
Instead of asking, “Why is this taking so long?” perhaps the better question is, “What is this season preparing me for?”
The waiting period can still have purpose. Something can be happening within you even when very little appears to be happening around you.
Be patient. Be open. Be steady. Trust that preparation has its own purpose. What feels like a delay today may be developing the strength, wisdom, relationships, and character you will need tomorrow.
The preparation is part of the blessing. Greater things are ahead.
